From Ron and Roxanna Patterson, parents of Joanna Patterson:
“Joanna Patterson, violist, won a highly competitive audition held on Saturday July 10th, for the viola position with the Cleveland Orchestra, and will become a member of that esteemed ensemble starting in September 2006. She will also be on their European tour in August 2006. She graduated Cleveland Institute of Music with honors last month. We are very proud of her, and glad she will have this opportunity, at the young age of 21, to continue to experience music making at the highest level. It is great to see that her hard work actually brought honest results.”
