Dressed as a baseball team, first one entered singing “Take me out to the Ballgame”, complete with

The two students sat on the edge of the stage, plucking a song about the rain.
They dressed in colorful raincoats. |
Les Jeunes Filles, Seattle (The Young Girls)
Award: “Barber of Bergen - Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow”
The four girls entered as a Barber Shop Quartet. They sang a traditional “Sweet Adeline” song called “Tell Me Why?” |
After being berated for
having entered the “wrong kind of contest”, they spotted some string instruments and asked if they could try them, and try they did! |

alien outfit, dressed in flowing white robes. |

Franz Schubert: Octet for winds and strings, D. 803; 3rd movement, Allegro Vivace
Show White and the Seven Dwarves entered to Derek playing “Hi-Ho” on his bass. Snow White was played by Wenhao.
| The wicked queen (Laura) tried to poison him with
the apple but it took too long, so she had to hit him numerous times with her bow. |

Aurora Borealis Sextet
Award: “Beauty and the Brahms”
Strolling through the audience as Miss America finalists in formal evening gowns, they took the stage for the
‘interview portion’ of the pageant. Judge Beck presided, and they each had to answer challenging questions having to do
with Brahms. |
