Tuned In! 2020 is Cancelled

As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and the need to keep everyone safe following Washington State and CDC guidelines we have cancelled this years’s Tuned In! Student Chamber Music Festival. The festival is one of the highlights of our year, and we are hoping to be able to return to the wonderful experience of an in-person festival next summer.

Coming soon – a NEW exciting podcast series from Chamber Music Madness and the Skyros Quartet

Tuned In! Summer Student Festival combines serious chamber music education with lots of fun. Directed by the Skyros Quartet, the festival is an intensive and comprehensive week-long musical learning experience for middle school, high school, and college students.

Tuned In! is a unique opportunity to work with a professional string quartet! Through their experience as performing artists and with advanced credentials as teachers, the members of the Skyros Quartet bring a high level of coaching to students enrolled at the festival. This is an incomparable experience for youthful chamber music players.

During the week students participate in master classes, sight-reading sessions, and theatre arts, and learn relaxation techniques through yoga instruction. Each year, it is our privilege to offer a master class with a world-class artist from the Seattle Chamber Music Society.
